"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX. controls on
this page." This is the error alert that was shown when trying to get
updates from Windows Update, and Microsoft for downloads. Also,
security settings [Internet Explorer] are and have been reset to
Medium. Still cannot access any downloads. How can the group resolve
this problem? Furthermore, cannot get PcPitstop to scan, getting same
error alert. The error code [0x8DDD0004] in the subject line is from
Windows Update. Browsed the Net couldn't come up with a resolution.
Tried everything!!! The Windows page asked me to validate in order to
