How old is your computer, sounds pretty old. Most modern keyboards use what
is called the PS2 connector, round with just a few pins. There's one for the
keyboard and one for the mouse above it. I would assume that you also don't
have a USB connector on your computer. The USB connector is about 1/4" thick
and maybe 3/4" wide. Some new keyboards have a USB connector in addtion to
the PS2 connector. I haven't seen a keyboard with any other type of
connector since before Windows 95 came out. I don't know of any solution
other than a newer computer.
