I too had 2 full Commodore systems and ran a BBS with them..Then I got the urge
to build my own and was going to buy a Heath kit..but my husband surprised me
with a $10,000 system with dual 8" floppies.. lol.. remember those..lol..heck
they were the cat's meow back then..Then I went to a Radio Shack store and
tried to buy a book/program on hexadecimal programming..the clerk took it away
from me and said "Women do not understand these things and we cannot make a
refund if you open the package"..duh!!..lol..--Phyllis----- Original Message

Phyllis,
Well I played with computers when they were just a black box with justlights
That sounds like the 8800, based on the 8080, featured in Pop TronicsI was a
Commodore man myself. I also looked at the T,I. 9000 or was it 9900.Based on
the TI chip and having the plug in cartrideges. I didn't like thatis's BASIC
did not have a POKE command.JimIf you have any questions or problems with any
