I have several questions:
1. Can you run POST?
2. Did you disable the 'on-board' video in the BIOS, to allow for use of
the new video card?
3. Is the power cable for the monitor 'secured' to the surge protector?
4. Is the data cable for the monitor 'secured' to the back of the video
card?
5. Is the video card seated securely in the slot?
6. Is any one of the memory sticks(DIMM, SIMM, etc.) loose?
7. Does the video card work fine in another PC?
8. Does the same problem occur using another slot?
9. Does the same problem occur with another video card?
10. Is the card in the right slot(AGP as opposed to PCI)?
