lol.....I know some people would forget to hit apply, but I do hit apply and 
then when I close it all out, it tells me to restart the computer for changes 
to take effect.  I restart and it am still unable to move the slider, so I 
check againa nd it's magicially got a   check in the box again for disable 
system 
restore.
