Hi;
Being a new member here,I hope that someone can help me. I received a
computer from my sister and just wanted to use it to scan images for
eBay.
I have an HP 4300c,and installed the software on my machine. Whenever
I try to access the scanner,I get a message that the scanner is being
accessed by another application. It says to wait for the other
application to finish or close it to allow access to the scanner.
What could possibly be running that would do this? How could I find
out what is running in the background,and how can I disable it? She
used to have EarthLink as a provider and I still see it on the
machine.Would this have something to do with it? This machine is not
hooked up to the internet at all.
