I also may have missed something but my interpretation is that Tom wishes to
take a high quality
photo with his camera but reduce the size of the resulting image file for
sending by email? If
indeed he did wish to convert all his image file sizes it can be achieved by
using any number of
graphics programs including the ones AS mentioned or perhaps even the software
that was supplied
with his camera.
