I am wanting to know if Websense is spyware or browser hijacker or what. I
havent downloaded any programs in some time but suddenly today I was unable
to view certain webpages , and a page came up that said Websense had
blocked access to the page. Basically I was unable to websurf anything even
my own website. I ran spyware scans from three different programs(Aluria,
Spyware Doctor, and Microsoft Antispyware) as well as antiviral scan with
Avast. Nothing. I am wondering if the crazy guy who runs this small
Wireless Internet Service has put this program on, or if thats even
possible. He seems to enjoy periodically cranking down bandwith to next to
nothing, though he advertises unlimited access etc. We dont surf dangerous
sites so have no idea whats up with this thing or if it accidently got into
my computer somehow. Any info ???
