Delete or uninstall. And maybe that is just a shortcut in the start menu. 
Try clicking on it. Personally there is no need to remove one browser just 
because you have installed. Unlike AV programs, etc. you can have more than 
one browser installed. Occasionally you might want to use a diffrent 
browser.

Then maybe the start menu item was just a shortcut, as I said, try clicking 
it.
