See if this helps:

"To all you hapless souls who inadventantley screwed up your comp so 
your folder won't open i offer this:


Go to regedit and
go to
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell\open\command
double click on default and
put this as the value:
%SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe /idlist,%I,%L"
