Right click on the in "E" in the quick launch area.  Click on properties.
Go to run, hit the drop down arrow, click on maximized.

The only way I know how to expand an email or browser to full screen is to 
click the square box to the left of the white X on the red square. I have 
often wondered why they choose to switch to a smaller window willy nilly.
