What are you trying to find out, the specs of the machine? Another place to 
look in XP is found in Start, Accessories, System Tools, System Information. 
Many of the shareware programs that provide information on your machine get 
that information from the same places as System Information.  And speaking 
of such programs there are two that you could download, Goggle for Aida 
and/or Everest. The latter seems to provide a bit more information.
