Actually, Windows NT came out about 1992 (born from the break up of the OS/2 project with IBM and derived from the same code as OS/2)
The reason most haven't seen Windows NT because it was purely a business product until Windows XP was released. You didn't seriously think Microsoft could have come up with so much in so little time between Windows ME and XP? (I mean take a look at that unsophisticated Windows 9x system!) History: There was...
