OK group, I did it. The main problem was a program I had installed
on the HD called Goback. Goback changes the Partition where it doesnt
look like a fat32 dos partition. Once I downloaded a file to uninstall
Goback and undo its changes to the partition, my win2k cd was finally
able to see the partition and the win2k installation, and then I was
able to do a install repair, which loaded the new drivers for the new
MOBO. And When windows started up, all the stuff was there just like it
should be, desktop, programs, favorites, emails, ect. I did spend about
3-4 hours reloading all the updates, updating all the drivers, ect. But
for those of you that said it couldnt be done, I just proved ya wrong,
HAAAAAAAAAA ....... lol ... Just wanted to let ya know what the problem
was and that it is possible to do without wiping out the HD and
starting all over again. My 4 years worth of settings and files are
still intact on my HD. YESSSSSSS!!!!
Well thanks all for your input,
Brian
