You are absolutely right, but that doesnt stop someone - a member -  serial 
sending the same mail. There are 1600+ members in currently in this group.   
The fact that the content of the mail is not off topic I suggest is the reason 
why Yahoo would not do anything about it were it reported.  On the other hand, 
whoever it is, may have the misguided impression that his posts are of interest.
