I just acquired a used laptop. When I turn it on there is a light gray
bar in the upper left had corner about an inch or so wide and half way
down the screen. This comes up immediately when it is turned on even
before windows loads. Could this be a defective screen? Any ideas of
what could cause this and if it is fixable would be appreciated.
I also have another laptop with a thin purple line from top to bottom.
I dropped this one. Any help on this one would also be appreciated.
