Hi Poppy,
I have used this twice(dl'd it twice that is).
The first time i didn;t know quite how to configure things and it seemed like a
good deal. It was too in it's own way. i got shortucts to MY GROUPS/MAIL and
some other things, plus a little anti-spy utility that was ok, and the pop-up
blocker was ok.
i got rid of it because i found too many other things that worked better and
didn;t have a bunch unnecessary files associated with them. I really don;t
trust Yahoo too much anymore and their pop-up bloker and anti=spy are not
worth having all the extra stuff that yahoo installs and doesn;t bother to
explain about.
I use the google toolbar, which has a pop-up blocker, plus i use HOSTMAN, which
is a small utility that works with your host file to prevent going to a list of
restricted sites....
also use several other tools to keep bad stuff from happening.
I joined
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/spyware
and between that and all the other groups(including this one) i have learned a
great deal. The spyware one is completely dedicated to comuter security issues
and spyware. Also,
CHAD(Computer Help for Dummies) and TSFD(Tech Support for Dummies) come to mind.
If you have any technical questions about stuff I mentioned, please ask again
about them and i will do my best to help you. I am not that knowleadgeable, but
i will try my best to at least NOT steer you in the wrong direction...lol.....

When looking at group mail yesterday I noticed a Yahoo banner recommending that
I download their anti spyware toolbar. Does anyone use this toolbar and is it
very effective?
