Subject: Re: [A-1-Computer_Tech] Local Folders and Address book are gone ??

Well that was a neat solution from Dee, I haven't come across that one
before.

For information purposes, you can change your view settings at any time by
clicking on the "View"
menu and selecting "Layout". This will provide you with lots of options
regarding your view
settings, which can be changed by either checking or unchecking the various
boxes. In your case I
think you would have had to check the boxes "Contacts" and "Folder List" to
restore the settings you
lost.

If you want to see how the changes affect your view just check and uncheck
the various options one
at a time and click "Apply" after each change you make and you will see how
your screen changes with
each selection you make. You can then either click "Cancel" to abandon the
changes you made or
"Save" to save them.

I have Windows XP and on my Outlook Express
Inbox, I had my Local Folders and my Address Book on the left side.
Not sure just where I was at the time, but I clicked on a button and
they both disappeared and the inbox then took up the whole page. I can
still move things to any of the folders, but cannot view the contents
of any of the folders.--- How can I get them back on my Inbox page?
Where do I go to even find the local folders? ---If someone can help
me with this problem, please don`t use computer terms as I do much
better with "land Buoys" to get around on the net. Thanks for your
time.
