Hey Matty

Are you pullin' our bellropes here?

Have you tried any of the Bear's suggestions? Why do you keep asking
the same questions pal?

Spooling or Simultaneous Printer Operations On Line is a process of
queuing print jobs waiting to be printed on the printer, which enables
the printer to do other things while waiting to complete the print job.
It is a Temporary folder that is usually cleared once the print
job is done. If it isn't shown under your printer's folder look in
C|:Windows\System32 folder or just use Explorer to search for a folder
called Spool, do you think you can manage that?

Personally speaking, I reckon you are thinking of Eudora email client
which does have it's own spool folder. The Eudora spool folder is for
holding attachments that wouldn't exist if they weren't parts of
messages. The most common way this happens is when forwarding or
redirecting a message that has attachments; a copy of all the
attachments is made in the spool folder. The copies in the spool folder
remain until the message they belong to is emptied from Eudora's trash.
You seem to be using Yahoo mail not Eudora???

Now whaqt's all this about *.ini files, who mentioned ini files, for the
record they are configuration files which have more or less been
replaced with the inception of Windows Registry files. Johnny K said
"you can check the in-box" that is "in" as in "In-box" NOT INI as in ini
FILES???

You seem to be dead keen to use MSDOS to find a jpg file on your rig,
old Bill must be banging his head against the wall if he is reading this
BANG BANG BANG, hey give it a rest Bill, you'll get a headache and give
us one in the process, and we have our hands full with Matty :-(

So you want to use DOS to search for your jpg files well ok

You are first of all going to have to get to the C:\> prompt, I am not
sure how you do that in W98 but you will probably have to restart in DOS
mode, when you do type as follows pressing "Enter" after typing each line

If you know the name of the file WHICH YOU STILL HAVEN'T TOLD US, type

cd c:\
dir FILENAME.jpg/s

Where FILENAME is the name of your file.

If you don't know the name of your file then type this and don't forget
to press "Enter" after each line

cd c:\
dir *.jpg/s

There you go buddy, all the jpg files on you computer will be displayed
in white letters on a black screen, much more exciting than searching
using Explorer in colour but whatever makes you happy pal ;-)

You also said "What is that, is it there?"

Have to pass on that one pal, is that a trick question or have you been
on the old substances?

Do you mean C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files ???????

What about C:\WINDOWS\All Users

What is that, is it there? What about ini files ? I thought ini files
are used to initialize, or set parameters for the operating system
and certain programs.
