I note all you say, including about Windows firewall, but as I am behind a 
router, that's not relevant.       
I can no longer get Sygate to install.  Every download I have wants to behave 
like an uninstall.  It's not strange to me because I had it happen before.
I did a system restore back a couple of days and although Sygate is in 
Add/Remove programs, it is not appearing, nor can it be resurrected from 
Start/Programs.  You don't really think I would not have thought of all that do 
you Rupert? ;-)
