Can you please provide me with your complete hardware configuration? Also, please indicate the Manufactuer (and model is possible) of the mainboard? Age as well would be helpful.
Also, Do you have Norton Internet Security installed? Beyond this, you may want to take a look at the Event Viewer for possible messages regarding the disk.
