My systems were all win98se I upgraded 3 of them to Win XP Pro without a hiccup..The only hook is, you must have your original 98 cd for XP to read and verify what you have on the system is legal..When XP is satisfied the upgrade will go into a full install of XP..I did not know that until it happened..lol..so best have your 98cds on hand..--Phyllis
