Thank you for the information. It serves to show that even negative information 
is of help to group members because you have confirmed it. ;-)  Are you saying 
that the smaller GB drives are more reliable than those say 150 GB and over?   
However, I had a 40 GB Maxtor previously when running Windows 98 that lasted 
until the PC from about 1998 until was handed over February 2005 with ne'er a 
problem.
