Hi, maybe my question is confusing some. What I am trying to do is
read some emails, chat, and instant messenger that happened on my
computer several years ago. I have heard that the hard drive has all
things recorded. My question is how to read those off the internal
works of the system, maybe hard drive is not the right term to use.
Please forget the fact the computer crashed, I am not trying to re-
format or restore something lost. I just wondered if things are lost
off the hard drive if that happens, making those old emails gone
  forever. Thanks
