While on the subject of partitioning a drive, I have two drives, 80 gig and 200 gig. The 200 is not yet installed, been trying to decide how best to do this. (I think I asked for opinions on this before). My OS, XP home is installed on the 80 gig, no partitions at all. Should I just go ahead and install the 200 gig and leave everything as is? Should I partition the 200? I bought the 200 because it was on sale (silly). If I partition a drive is that permanent or can that be undone if I wanted to later on? Thanks for your patience with me. Debbie

This would solve several problems I've been having. Question: I'm running XP home edition on a laptop. Can I create another partition without having to reinstall everything that is on my hard drive now? If so, could you suggest how I should do it.
