Hello everyone I am using XP home and I have a most annoying icon in what was once referred to as the system tray. I have one icon that resembles 2 small flashing monitors indicating that I am connected to the internet but just next to that icon is a similar icon but with a red exclamation mark in front of the 2 monitors. It would appear to be a warning that my network connection is disconnected but I don't have a network so I do not need this silly warning.
I have selected do not show in the toolbar properties but it still shows up verey time I start my puter. There must be a way of turning it off but I have not found a way of doing so. Does any kind person here know how to turn this icon off permanently? There is also another one I am having similar trouble with Windows Messenger Not Signed In but I don't use messenger?
