Happy Holiday to you too Ron, but shouldn't your name be Jack ? ;-) What you have received is not a bounced mail it is potentially a virus in an attachment to the email.
The ploy is to arouse your curiosity and get you to open the attachment to see what your "bounced mail" originally said.
