The last time I was on the "Bleeding edge" was in 1983, when
I dumped my Commodore and bought an IBM PC.<G>
I used MS dos until W95, then I went to win 3.1. I went
to 98se after 2000 was released, so anyone accusing me of
jumping the gun is exaggerating.<G>
I have a 1 gig AMD processor and 512 ram, so I might try a
new card and W2000, since it is about to go obsolete.
BTW, I also like toast made from stale bread.<G>

Unless you NEED the absolute bleeding edge technology and have money to burn
I would say that you won't notice much difference between your old machine
and a new one. I have a fairly new Sony and I still have my older one, both
networked. For ordinary tasks I notice absolutely no difference between the
machines.
