Situation: Used Acer monitor for surfing, etc. Toshiba laptop was
the power source only. Worked perfectly.
Problem: No activity on the LCD Acer monitor, though the screen does
appear. No icons, etc., completely unusable. This happened suddenly.
Possible remedy, according to Troubleshooting guide: Fn + F5.
My dilemma: Nothing happens! I can continue to use the Toshiba
laptop, but need my 19" Acer monitor.
HELP! (You'll have my undying gratitude).
