First let me make sure I am on the right page, you are saying that downloads
are faster if the mouse icon arrow is off screen. Have you tried downloading
the same file under each condition. If not I'd say that is it your
imagination unless you have a timer that shows how long it takes in each
case. And if there was a difference I'd not expect it to be more than 1% or
1% different. For one thing the cursor control program is running no matter
where the cursor is on the screen.
