Thank you, everyone, for your suggestions. From what little I know
about computer programs, it seems to me that IE is/was not the
problem. Obviously it was Norton Anti-everything. I'll check the
Norton firewall settings as soon as I can figure out how. Even though
IE was not the problem in this situation, I'll be checking out other
browsers just to see what's out there and if it'll be worthwhile to
