I never do. But, you need to make sure all activity to or from the card
has stopped. The same with an external hard drive, you would never
disconnect while the drive was working.
What would happen otherwise? I don't know. It would stop recording
or downloading but that probably would not cause an erasure of files.
Would cause a partial recording but the partial might be ok. Any
other ideas? Bye
