Hi Jim, The only way I know of would be to perform an actual search first, then you would be able to save the search to your desktop or where ever you prefer. I have a saved search I use occasionally to delete tmp and other files.....*.tmp,*.chk,~*.* I tell you one thing, I personally do not often have great search results when I am looking for an actual file using WinXP search. --- From: jimpurcell2001 --- I use the XP search tool often, but almost never use any of the sub functions except 'all files and folders'. Does anyone know a way of either creating a shortcut to this function or customizing Search so that this option is closer to the top? Jim_._,_.___ .
