Hey, I figured out my problem.

I recently was trying Mozilla Foxfire and set it as the default browser.  When 
I decided to stay with IE, I never changed back to default status.  I did that 
and now all is well!!

  Yes, they are in blue and I can copy them and paste into IE. But they always 
led to IE when you clicked on them.

  I've been looking through the help section on OE to see if there is a way to 
remedy this but not yet.

  Are the links highliged [in blue]? Have you tried highlighting them then 
  copying and pasting them to IE?
  Try that to narrow down the problem.
