Hello Rupert! Or should I say "Avast". I want to apologize to Tom and the rest
of the group for the text that has been coming through at the beginning of each
reply. I have been experimenting with a lot of different Fonts, and I think
that could just be the problem. I will be uninstalling them immediately to see
if there is a resolution to the problem.

Hi Tom
As Ivan (the terrible <grin>) says, it is good to deploy a full arsenel against
the transgressors. Yes all programs will discover different problrems and there
will also be an overlap. Personally speaking I would say all finds of malware
are important but in most cases are not exactly critical. My personal
experience has been that Norton is a very good but bloated AV and Adaware and
Spybot are very good malware "zappers".

I periodically run adaware on my system and always find some critical items
which I delete. I just checked my Norton Virus/Spyware protection and noticed
all the adware and spyware that it is on alert for. My question is why does the
adaware find items that Norton hasn't, which seems to be what it happening. Are
the adaware finds less critical to the Norton program?
