I hate like hell to send this thing in for service especially if it ends up costing an arm and a leg. Hi: I told you what I thought but I don't see where you have made any effort yet to CLEAN IT OUT. Use the AIR CAN as I have suggested. After three years it is FULL OF DUST. Dust blocks the airways and also acts as an insulator. I've had five Laptops over the last ten years and none of them ever went 3 years without cleaning. Remove as many panels as possible, battery, memory, hard drive and sneak the air nozzle into every open space you can find. Try to do this while the fan is still running in order to help clear any dust that gets dislodged. Otherwise it will cost you about an hours labor to get it done.
