Hi Rixey,

Glad to be of some help, sometimes the simple ideas are the best. So it
looks like my the memory overheating ws the problem after all and of course
the fan in a laptop only serves to cool the processor, there is no provision
for circulating the air around in side the case as there is in a desktop or
a tower machine.
