I bought an electric Disk Rescuer by LuminAir at CyberGuys a while 
back..Yesterday I pulled out my old Martian Chronicles, to watch again, 
one of my old favorites and found the dvds had deteriorated in the box, 
yet! They were a mess..So I ran all 3 dvds thru the DVD Rescuer without 
much hope, but it ground away with a bit of repair ointment on the 
wheel in the repair unit..I can't praise that gadget enough..this is 
the second time I have had to use it on old dvds and it has worked like 
a charm both times..I'm going back and get another one..lol..--Phyllis
