Do you have data that you don't want to lose on the computer? The
computer will not boot and needs some repair work. Here are some things
you can try:
a. Try to go into safe mode. Press F8 during the boot process. If you
can get there, you can copy any data you want to save. This is where one
of those USB devices become priceless.
b. Take your computer to a shop and have them copy your data files
($$$). For a few bucks they might repair your Windows.
c. If your laptop came with a Windows install CD, try to boot from the
CD and do a repair.
d. If you have a restore CD set, put the first one in and reboot.
