Any opinions on IE7 yet? I'm thinking of downloading it but want some
feedback. I guess anyone who doesn't like IE anything need not respond.
Hi:
I seldom use IE7 because I prefer the AOL browser, but, Ya it seems to work
fine and I have it on my PC.
One big difference is in the way it opens "My Favorites" and I have about
1000.
I go online directly from the My Favorites folder and I keep a shortcut in
the quick
launch so I can get to them anytime. Since AOL is my default browser, AOL
will
start and go online. However now if I click the same favorites from within
an opened
IE7, IE7 will open the web site. IE6 would just default back to AOL.
AOL9 browser will not open the "sign on" page on some WIFI providers and I
used
IE6. occasionally. But now I have "AOL Explorer" that I find much more
interesting
than IE7 and it's free along with the Safety and Security suite and free
eMail.
I never get Spam, Malware, or Viruses so those problems never concern me,
and
I keep the IE7 security stuff closed.
Emile
