Hi Tom
When I used NAV I received those messages quite frequently, the most common
was
"back door trojan", usually originating from the US and one frequent attacker
was "Roadrunner". Norton used to provide information about the attacker
including a world map indicating the location from which the attack was
launched. As for doing anything about it, if it had come from the UK I would
be
writing to the company and reporting the attack to our Government's Trading
Standards Office but because most came from the US I didn't think it was
worthwhile. I noticed that Friday was a very popular day for these sort of
attacks for some unknown reason, perhaps a sort of POEST day instead of POETS
day ;-)

I get a message from my Norton virus protection at least a few times a day
saying something like an internet worm intrusion has been blocked. I know this
can't be a bad thing but does this mean that EACH time this comes up that I am
being attacked? Also, is there a way to find out where this is coming from and
any way to stop it??
Thanks
Avast ye land lubbers!
