Hi. :-).

How many times can I use the reset codes on a Canon i860 before the
waste tank starts leaking?

My trustworthy Canon i860 gave me the "used printer tank is almost
full" message a few minutes ago. I am a bit sick; it's been a great
printer. Besides I have a bunch of printing to do for school within
the next few days, including writing a couple of papers.

I have the reset codes from fixyourownprinter.com, which is where a
couple of listmembers sent me a little over a year ago. There hasn't
been much action on the forum since then, and searching the rest of
the site turned up nothing.

I would love a day or two of breathing space so I can make a good
decision. Is there somewhere I can get unbiased assistance on which
to get? I like Canon's, but I'm open to other suggestions, and I
preferably need ink you can buy at Walmarts and Target. I don't want
to buy the printer from there - Best Buy and Office Max are the two
closest places. I don't want to spend a fortune on ink.

Thanks
Theresa

Gentlemen, I believe we have much to discuss.
