I just noticed this post as I'm scanning the list. I just thought I'd 
add a 2ยข worth here. Once you get it fixed, if you get Webroot 
Spysweeper, it has a little feature that keeps browser hijacking from 
happening in the first place. It will pop up a box to let you know 
something is trying to change your homepage and ask if you want to 
allow it. It's saved me from this problem a few times. It also keeps 
things from being added to your favorites without your knoweldge.
