ok I somehow pressed reset on my router. its a netgear WGR614v6 router.
I then lost connection to the internet. I then plugged it back in to
see if i could get on. I couldnt. I then did renew Ip, redetect
connection, rebuild connection and nothing worked.
On my dsl router, all lights would come on except internet. this
morning i put in my dsl cd to install it again. It says it didnt
install it but not sure about that.
on the bottom right on the screen, it has Wireless network connection.
Not connected. right click for more options.
I have Dell Wireless 1500 draft 11 n WLAN mini card . I tried to
install the cd again but it wouldn't install.
I currently have my ethernet cord in the laptop and dsl modem. I know
to have my router working i have to put the ethernet cable into the
router, but afraid i will lose connection to the internet and not get
back on since it took a day to get back on.
I also didnt know the admin name and password on my router so i think
i deleted it yesterday but not sure. Thanks chris
