Hi...
I smashed my laptop and was able to retrieve the hard drive..my "tech" friend
said I needed to bring the hard drive to him, he'd "put it on the bench" and
see if he could retrieve the information, if not he would send it out to
recover the data. Of course, before I let him have it, I wanted to make sure
it worked, bought a HD enclosure and was able to retrieve all my important
data, much to his disappointment, after he told me 100 reasons why what I
proposed to do couldn't work. The only thing I was unable to recover was my
email files...they are there, but I went from XP to Vista and couldn't import
them. I've tried pretty much everything I could find with no success...is
there that much difference between Outlook Express and Vista's Windows Mail?
Any ideas how to accomplish getting them?
Patti
