Subject: Re: [A-1-Computer_Tech] Adobi Photoshop Elements 5.0 - Install
Problem

Thank you Ian. Let's take a look here.
VGA resolution warning when you install Photoshop Elements 5.0
Issue
When you start the installer for Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0, the Photoshop
Elements installer displays the warning message, "This program required VGA
resolution or higher" and then quits.
Details
The resolution of your monitor is set to less than 1024x768 pixels.
Solution: Increase the resolution of your monitor to 1024x768 pixels.
1. Choose Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2. Open the Display control panel.
3. Click on the Settings tab.
4. In the Screen Resolution area, move the slider to the right until the
value is 1024x768 or higher.
5. Click OK.
Background information
The minimum monitor resolution required Photoshop Elements 5.0 is 1024x768
pixels. The installer checks the monitor resolution and quits if the monitor
does not meet the minimum system requirements.
For a complete list of the minimum system requirements for Photoshop
Elements 5.0, visit the Adobe web site at www.adobe
com/products/photoshopelwin/systemreqs.html .

Good luck, Ivan [Lucid Geek]
