Please, who here has AVG Free anti-virus software? Perhaps
you can answer a simple question. Whenever I open a Word
file, a message appears at the bottom of the screen reading:
"Requesting virus scan . . ." It seems to slow down the
opening of the file (although I'm not sure that's what slows
things down).
Anyway, I've never seen this with any other file, only with
Word files. Is this normal? I hadn' t seen this
"notification" on Word until I installed AVG.
