You need to re-format and put a valid Fat32 or NTFS system on because you
have lost the boot sector.

Subject: [A-1-Computer_Tech] XP Pro Setup

When I turn on my computer, my AHA-39320-A-R recognizes my hard drive(147GB
U320) but, when trying to install XP Pro, it does not recognize the hard
drive.

A message comes up, saying to press 'Enter'(to continue the installation),
R'(to repair the previous installation) or, F3(to exit the installation
process).

1. When I press 'Enter', it says it cannot find the hard drive.

2. When I press 'R', it gives the same response.

3. When I press 'F3', it does exit the setup.

Christopher

P.S. When I reformatted the hard drive, I used the SCSI utility, NOT, the DOS
Format command.
