I haave several IOMEGA drive too, and a type of drive that right now I can't
evern recall what it was called. Maybe Super Drive. The disks looked almost
like floppies but had even more capacity than Zip disks. The notion that I
should use these drives has always been in my mind, but I have not done so,
here's why. Since these drives came out the burnable CD/DVD and especially
Doube level ones, have come out. They enable storage to take up relatively
infinitessimle [SP?] comared to Super disks and Zip disks. Then there are
the external drives with super capacity, in the hundreds of Gigabytes. Not
only do they have superior capacity but they also have ease of use. Just
drag and drop files to them. I have one of these for my Macs, using Time
Machine to auto back up files AND I save files manually as well. Then I have
a second external that I use on my PCs. These drives have a 500 Gigabyte
capacity. Unbelievable! I can still recall when I got my first Gigabyte
internal, I think it was 4 G.

Getting the external drives has sidetracked most of my notion to use Zip and
Super drives and even Opticals to some extent for back up storage.
