I didn't read anyone else's answers but here goes.
First you have to have a transfer cable that fits a USB spot on both 
computers. Second, The computer you want the files at to transfer the 
other computer, must be on and ready to transfer files, connect the 
cable in that computer. Then, you opne the Documents in the other 
computer you want the files to go to. The (old) should have the wizard 
open to do your transfer. If I am wrong then it will be on the (new) 
computer where you want the files to go to. Allow the wizard to its 
work but be there in case there any requirements needing you.  --- In
